Please join NETSA at Pembury House Farm in Sutton MA for a meeting to form the 2013 show committee! All who would like to help in the show's organization and marketing/sponsorship committees are invited to sign up. 

Last year's inaugural NETSA OTTB show was a great success and this year we have expanded to include Jumpers too! The show date is October 6th and will again be held at the Saddle Rowe show facility in Medway, MA.

Please spread the word about the meeting, bring friends, and share the post in the web and Facebook. We need help to continue the growth of this great venue for Off Track Thoroughbreds!

2012 $500 Suffolk Downs
Hunter Classic!

Suffolk Downs Racetrack of East Boston was the title sponsor for the two-round, $500 Suffolk Downs Grand Hunter Classic. Congratulations go to "Noted", ridden by FiFi Schmidt and owned by Patricia Nesto, winning the cash prize, beautiful cooler sponsored by Dover Saddlery, and a Jockey Club TIP saddle pad. Reserve in the class was awarded to
Cowboy Casanova and Carly Fisher.

This is the only JC TIP affiliated all Thoroughbred and Cross-bred show held in the
North East for 2013!

New England Stallion Station of Fitchburg, MA donated a lovely dark bay, 4 year old gelding that was given a new home by a drawing held at the NETSA horse show and interested persons were invited to submit an application.  “Konohashair” went home with 13 yr. old Maddie Szurley of Lincoln, RI

Kono is to be donated at the NETSA horse show to a new owner   Kono

 


 

NETSA was formed with the specific goalof providing opportunities fornew careers for the Off Track Thoroughbred, (OTTB).
One of the benefits of membership provides Thoroughbreds enthusiasts the chance to meet other Thoroughbred and Half Thoroughbred owners and riders.

We have lots of exciting things planned for the coming year geared toward people who have come toNETSA OTTBsappreciate the unique talents of Off Track Thoroughbreds and Half-breds. NETSA promotesrecognition for our breed through competition and events for OTTB's after their racing careers end.  IN ADDITION TO THE OCTOBER 6th HORSE SHOW, a periodic newsletter, a clinic to prepare for the show, and a
"Day at the Races" are part of this years events.
